Day #30 of two sales jobs - Scheduling difficulties

My direct superior of J2 rescheduled a meeting with me and one other person for the time today that I have a meeting with a prospect at J1 and I couldn't really say that time didn't work for me because I don't have anything booked on J2's calendar.


Also decided since I have 2 jobs I have twice as many reasons to invest in myself and my sales skills and the double potential to hit accelerators at both jobs and bring in 170k+ yearly so I am going to be investing in sales coaching with Marcus Chan


This will help me focus on quality vs quantity to hit metrics at both jobs and ensure I am providing above and beyond value as an employee and ensuring my employability/promotions.

@SADNESSLieutenantthis is going to sound weird but hear me out - you need to start acting a bit. The character you need to portray is a little eccentric and an extreme hypochondriac with a shocking amount of random responsibilities.

Play if off right and suddenly it makes sense that you have multiple dentist, dermatologist, and chiropractor appointments. Slap on some random responsibilities like picking up a friend who's car broke down from the mechanic, etc and you can duck most meetings last min.

For the record, I don't think 2 jobs like this is sustainable and I don't agree with it, but am rooting for you to make it work and continue to smash targets!

That is a good point I just ironically hate lying and cannot bring myself to the whole acting thing - but yeah If I wanna play ball thats a good point.

For the record, I don't think it's sustainable and I don't agree with it either. But it's what I need to do right now to pay the bills unfortunately. Thankyou!

Can you block time on J2's calendar when you have something scheduled at J1? Can either of the jobs "see" your calendar other than a block in time?

I mean, I block my calendar if I'm going to the dentist or similar, so....

Yeah that's a good point and I can do that going forward, I did it once but just got busy/lazy because there wasn't any movearounds last minute

Yeah, the downside is managing multiple calendars. I have to do that here for my family, so I know it can be critical to make sure that we aren't double booked.

Let me know how it goes with Marcus Chan. I was going to do his sales program, but after doing some research online, apparently the guy is a scam. Plus the automated emails I got from him were terrible so I decided not to go forward with his coaching.

The dude did 30 minutes of video recording email and call review for me in the first day and his content is fire on the program, plus weekly coaching calls. He knows whatsup but will keep you updated

Im looking at 2-3 different coaches right now…can’t pull the trigger. I feel like I have too many other expenses going on but at the same time, really need the coaching.
