There seems to be two schools of thought when it comes to personal presentation - either match the client and blend in to make them feel comfortable or bombastically contrast the client to be memorable. I've seen both be very successful. On one hand, you have the guy with the navy blue Nike golf shirt, Docker Khakis, and a high and tight haircut. On the other hand you have the guy in a gold sequin suit and top hat who probably has coke in his back pocket.
