I'm the research, due dilligence, meeting, presenter, closer, onboarder, trainer, and problem solver.

Love it, but definitely underpaid with the fighting I have to go through internally.ย

you know, Getting paid is always the best part of sales, But It definitely feels really rewarding to take a customer all the way through the process and build that relationship.

I was previously in start up environments where I was paired with a dedicated SE. I preferred it. You built rapport, etc. Current company has a team approach and itโ€™s literally a round robin who gets assigned to an opp. No wonder they are so pissy and miserable. A BDR could take dogshit notes and it ends up being a 6 figure deal. Not my problem. Iโ€™m having enough trouble abstaining from murdering half of CS.

Selling + CS + marketing + product + hiring. I'm at a very lean "stealth" startup that operates under the umbrella of a publicly-traded company. It's a lot of work, but it's fun.
