You would be ready to call Jeff Bezos and close a billion dollar deal after that viewing party.

Did you use the shaving cream like I suggested? I left it on the terrlit.

Yes. I am so smooth and silky now. I almost slipped and fell right into the terrlit earlier.

It doesn’t matter, so pick it up and rock the call. If it goes badly, you get to redeem yourself in 30 seconds.

Know your product, know your competition, know your prospects persona, know the common objections.

Keep in mind a script feels forced and fake, have a call flow outline open in a tab to keep you on track but don't sound mindless.

As dumb as it sounds, it really is one of those things you just have to do a shit ton of to eventually get confident with. Set a crazy high volume goal, do it for a week or 2, and you’ll be way more confident, and significantly better at it, by the end of it.

I start the call talking like I know them, not making this up but in my tone, "Oh hey Bruce!", this usually relaxes people a bit and keeps them on the line listening more. Not that people usually just hang up but you can tell when they are letting you say their piece without listening.

They don’t know me. They don’t know where I live, who am I.
99.9% of them won’t find me on LinkedIn.
And lastly, I spend a minute before cold calling visualising why my solution is going to help them. It goes from “pls come for the meeting” to “I’m calling you out of the blue and you’re gonna thank me for it”

Some funny AF answers in here 😂

But honestly, the more you make the easier it becomes.

Scheduling warmer leads first can be a nice ease into it also.

At the end of the day, you'll probably never see or speak to the person on the other end again if it doesn't go well, so what do you have to lose?

Don't put too much pressure on the result, have the conversation, ask the questions, listen, allow them to want to hear the pitch. They've got a job to do but so do you. Don't feel less worthy than that.

Some might disagree with the above but they've helped me

Script. Know what I’m gonna say, have several good comments, questions, etc ready. Practice it. Know my value to their org.

Fail a lot. After a while you learn what works a certain % of time. Instead of taking the failures personally, you figure out how to not fail the next time.

Salespeople are obnoxious loudmouths by nature so try to view that as a positive. People are too shy! You just call people and ask them for money. The balls on you!

TLDR: Stop worrying about being too loud and annoying and be louder and more annoying
