Well... Having people hired instead of hiring freezes so I have to cover for a few technically open roles. Grr. Rant over

I suppose I could have:
Called more
Spent more time away from screens... Think it could have boosted my focus
Been more optimistic

Either way it's done and dusted now and onto the next Q :)

Selling, I got.

Getting those last two deals through risk management sucked. I'll close those next month. But that said, what would have helped was my two contacts not being taken by surprise by their own sucky processes. Not that I had any control over it.

Also, as every rep everywhere has ever said when this question is asked: what will help me sell more?

Honestly, turning it down a notch by my fellas at the office would have let me done better I guess:)
Been WFH for around +3 years now where it's all smooth and QUIET,when I got back to office -hopefully temporarily:)- it was a helluva showroom, I wasn't sure if have missed like I dunno, but when it comes to handling customers and prospects with that high volume of voices taking calls at the same time and dozens of side talks from people who're avail,I just got the feeling that I got lost a bit ,and my selling momentum wasn't as good as being from home!
P.S: Didn't choose to bother the crowd by telling em to STFU, just not to get hated for those few days before coming back, lol.

2 things:
1. Focusing on close plans & inspecting where the gaps are earlier in the deal cycle. There are more surprises now, are they becoming the norm? ex, IT involved, how many C-levels need to approve the order?
2. Establish executive relationships early in the sales cycle, consider multi-threading a few key relationships, don't just go with one exec. Ops to Ops, Sales to Sales, or Finance to Finance.

Less cooks in the kitchen. Internal bs between departments and me having to go back and forth.

Have more potential deals in the pipe.

There's always some uncontrollable bs, but some degree of quantity is necessary to avoid an over reliance on "luck" or whatever you want to call everything mythically aligning perfectly.

Unpopular opinion: Gong
Reviewing my calls and hearing others would make me a much better seller. I had it at a previous company and since then, I haven't been able to onboard as quickly.
