I will say it matters to play the game for new/early career reps.
And a lot can be absorbed in office by chatting deals/opps/product with more seasoned folks.
I'm all about the remote lifestyle and work/life balance, but if you're not crushing it, be visible for the old heads who think the office is king.

Public company. We have shuttered 80% of our offices. I can’t think of a single sales person that reports to an office, ever. Waste of money, time and effort.
