Fall Gifts Ideas for Cold Contact

I am not sure if its everyone being OOO the end of summer, but our team has struggled setting meetings to cold contacts a lot the past couple of weeks. Right now our leadership team is wanting us to start to incorporate mail/gifts for our top contacts. We usually do one in the holidays and summer, but since numbers are low we are doing one right now.

We had a meeting discuss what to mail, basically all we could thing of is a hand written note and a coffee mug of the college they went too. We thought about booze, but we quickly said no since the contacts are cold and we don't know if they drink.

Any ideas for gifts for cold contacts that are fall related?

The handwritten note works with maybe a giftcard for Starbucks. tis pumpkin spice season, so basic b's are rampant now.

Cheese plate (not the cheap kind). Candle sets (especially for Texans) (too soon?). We had a nice fancy woolen scarf once, and it was far more popular than I would have expected.

Comfy scarf is always a good move.

Yeah, send a redemption code for anything perishable so that you don't give them overly aged items. ;) So if you are trying to avoid redemptions, then switch to coffee beans or tea, maybe.

Mail works for me, I personally believe its the hand written note that helps.

I have not done a lot of cold gifts in the past so I am gonna try it out

With college football going on I think that the collegiate themed gift could be a good idea! One of my colleagues actually uses our CRM tagging feature to tag what college their prospect went to. Then if their team won that weekend he can send out a note, or in your case a mug, mentioning that. After all, no one loves their college more than alumni

Pumpkin spiced anything. It would fit the people who love it, as well as the who don't (as a joke even).

i like the note idea. tie in a Target gift card, mention that its fall and Target is the best place to get those decorations. or something like that.

It would definitely be different than what any other rep sends them!
