For all of my WFH savages:

This is your reminder to not let that chair you've been sitting in all day destroy your body and soul.

We've been hunched over, typing away on our keyboards and slowly morphing into sway backed, nerd-necked creatures with deteriorating muscle fibers and skin that aches for the sun's touch.

Make sure that you're taking time throughout the day to be good to your frame; I'm talking stretches, banging out the occasional yoga pose, or having a quick lunch and using the rest of your break to go for a stroll.

Working from home can be tough enough, letting the orchard that is your body run riot is something you can't let happen. Be good to yourselves, savages.

No marketing, mayo isn't an MQL
Life would be a lot easier if I could get that damn reservation at the dorsia.

P.S morning yoga is a great way to start the day and not yeet things at co-workers

Get into jiu jitsu at least 3 times a week. Stretching, check. Exercise, check. Taking out the fury you feel for that turd that won't sign your contract and keeps ghosting you, check.

Ay, fellow bjj guy. I roll 2-3 days a week after work. Best decompression for a long day.

If I had a dollar for every time I wanted to put a prospect in a triangle I wouldn’t need to work in sales anymore. Oss.

I hate to be “that guy” but I just can’t shut up about what a positive impact bjj has had on me. In totally unexpected way too - beyond fitness for sure

"Everyday porrada" sums up sales and bjj pretty well.

You mean you don’t have a laptop tray for your peloton? Joking aside, this is a seriously important message that I often forget.

It's so true, I have 2 weeks off from working out because of life hitting me all at once. But I'm ready to start hitting that pavement and get after it!

This is great advice. In the last two weeks I’ve started to get up and move more. Something that has helped me is when a meeting ends earlier than scheduled, I used that time for some small activity. It’s been great.

I pick up my bike 3-4 days in a week and head out for a 20-30 mile ride. No phone/No Laptops - No Distractions.

Over the weekends, go out for about 100 miles!

Do you have a go-to morning routine to get awake etc via exercise? A couple of my teammates do yoga in the morning but I have tried that and it really isn't for me with my non-flexy body!

I’m not all that flexible either, but anyone can do a child’s pose, S stretches and glute bridges. Look up stretch routines for anterior pelvic tilt. If you sit for most of the day, you probably have it.

I've been dealing with a trapped nerve in my neck for the last few weeks for exactly the reasons you've mentioned. Hopefully, that adds some weight to your PSA!

Thanks for the reminder.  This has been happening a lot more often given working from home.  Hard to stop working when it's right where you live.
