From sales to self employment?

anyone have good success stories of having gone from a 9-5 sales role to a better life in running their own business?

how did your job help you if it even did?

any tips or wise words of wisdom ?

need some motivation to get through this tough week

I have long wanted to do my own thing but never seen the path to doing it. I have some great ideas but not the $$ to implement them.

There is absolutely no way in hell to do both. You have to be funded, or be willing to survive eating dirt, both literally and figuratively.

Currently building out a side business which will hopefully be my full-time in 3 years. The best advice I can give you is that the first steps are the hardest and actually doing it.

As long as you got the required cash to start up+motive+excited to take risks and make profits then definitely go 4 it, that simple!
