I was contemplating the idea of being your future self in the present moment and how it can influence your decisions and behaviors day to day. when you start acting as you are becoming your future self the present moment starts changing exponentially.

Set a very big goal that it becomes uncomfortable and it forces you to act big.

Well, it all depends on where you are on your work life cycle. I'm closer to the end than the beginning. I gave my manager some side eye when there was a work initiative headed up by HR to encourage career growth, with a focus on a career path and a 5-10-15 year plan. And here I am, happily a career IC, with legitimately zero interest in moving up any corporate ladder outside of the one that leads to my retirement treehouse. :) It was a great initiative, just not for me, really.

Yeah it's all very the best time is now and I appreciate the thought process. I wish I was better at following up but most of me feels I'm a bit of an old dog. I think I need an assistant or intern then I'd be perfect...or just give my problems to someone else who is getting paid less...is that capitalisms?
