Has anyone ever outsourced some of their leads to some freelancer?

I mean imagine, you employ people to find you leads at a fraction of the prise you get to book meetings with them, Looking at websites that offer freelance, I'm wondering if anyone has cut those corners yet?

Maybe if the price is right and you only pay per meeting set

Would you send them your accounts and products you sell? Also are you currently not held/tracked on calls/emails?

If you are a top rep and working long hours with travel/demos I get it, but for most of reps I feel like prospecting is part of it.

I could do some outsourcing like an SDR or BDR does for their AE. Then those leads you will book the handover and have direct meetings. It will boost your meetings booked? ( just spitballing)

Yeah, just curious about how you would pay them? Hourly/per meeting? If per meeting, what happens if there is a no call no show?

How are you providing them material to do well and set quality meetings, without giving away company info?

Seems like a huge headache to set up a side bdr that is unaffiliated with your current company

There are companies that do this but from what I understand they're strictly booking meetings and you also don't know what exactly they're pitching/selling/promising on that initial discussion. I've heard both good and bad things about it.

What kind of sales are you talking about? Are you truly independent? This sounds like you setting up your own sales team - do you not have BDR/SDRs?

What if you were to outsource the bar role so that you have twice the gain

Why isn't your company paying for more/better BDRs? That's kind of the heart of the matter.

Honestly, unless I was setting up my own business, I wouldn't pay out of my own pocket to have someone do lead sourcing.

No way in hell I'd pay out of pocket.

I am a little confused here - are you outsourcing leads for a freelancer, or are you setting up your own outsourcing function?

Not to book meetings, but for some of the prospecting and data organization yes.

I've paid friends to cold call for me and pay them for each meeting set if they needed some extra cash. Haven't done it with freelancers before though.

I knew a rep earning high six figures who hired his own SDR...really...This person also did all her scheduling and followup..Genius!

I would never risk this for the complexity of sales we handle.
