Has anyone here used Change for Change?

I'm an SDR at a Series C Cybersecurity company, and my colleague shared about Change for Change (Changeforchange.io) with me.

He says he got 3 meetings this past week with his Must Wins by making a $5 donation for the call.

Curious if others have also had good success with them.

https://changeforchange.io Business - Change for Change Customers are key to growing your business, but getting meetings with them is not easy. Want an edge? Make donations to get those meetings.

@punishedlad it looks like you connect your CRM/calendar with them and make a donation anytime a prospect takes a meeting with you.

My colleague who shared this with me said that he got the meetings by saying “I’ll plant 5 trees if you take this meeting with me. If we are not a fit, at worst we did something good for the world”

I like the idea. Can you pick the donation amount and type ?

Yeah I think so.

The cool thing I found is that you’re choosing impact type than donation $. So you’re like I’ll donate 5 meals worth $10. So to the prospect, they see it’s 5 meals donated, not $10 donation

Never heard of it, but thanks for providing a breakdown.

Bit gimmicky to me, but definitely better than Starbucks/Tim's GCs, as @Kosta_Konfuciussaid

Way more likely to say yes to the meeting with a charity approach rather just offering them a starbucks gift card

edited to write more, I feel like people are always offering a coffee in exchange

Yeah, I think giving coffee makes you sound desperate. Whereas with donation, you are genuinely caring/compensating for someone’s time

Its a prospecting tool where you get meetings by making donations (trees, meals, etc). You make the donation only when the prospect books the meeting

Never heard but it sounds interesting. What’s the outcome of those meetings?

This will be more emotional driven meetings, positive outcome might be a challenge though.

He only has one so far. He told me that it helps talk to ICPs for whom the timing is not perfect (such as budget). Which is almost everyone now hahah
