No marketing, mayo isn't an MQL
You should chunk this down from your KPI's and meetings booked ratio. I.e If its 4 meetings per week and you have a 10% positive response rate to your sequence then extrapolate from there.

No ones situation will be the same as yours.

Working with Digital Ads, SEO etc. Same market as you, and some large accounts. Only new sale. Putting in around 3-4 new prospects to the pipe a day and closing around 1-2 of them. Right now at 97% of my 2021 quota! 🍾

Whow, I'm guessing it's super personalized, or do you automate for relevance ?

This is a very gray area question, because the number will differ based on vertical, sales cycle type, product, etc. For example, for my sales cycles, I work with about 10 people within a company, generally regardless of area and size. It’s usually the same 10-15 titles that are involved, so I will not add more than 10 contacts per company because it’s counterproductive. But, that might be wildly different for someone else.

Interesting, in that case, how many accounts do you work on per day as a non -negotiable

I admit I am not a heavy prospector anymore, I primarily focus on later stage deals. However, when I am light in pipeline, I try and hit around 10 accounts a day. I do a lottttt of research on the company and their setup prior to reaching out so most of my time is spent researching.

Call me what you want, just sign the damn contract
If I was measuring prospects added on a daily basis, I would be working 900000000 hours a week.

Depends on your sequences and cadences, but my general rule of thumb for mid-market would be to add between 10-15 prospects per day and between 5- 10 net new target accounts. If you have the bandwidth or capacity to add more, then I would. When I was prospecting mid-market I was adding anywhere between 20-30 net new prospects per day, but that was just me. I know my colleagues were a little lighter with their adding, but at the end of the day, it's a numbers game. The more no's you get the closer you get to that yes.

Thanks for this, looks like a reasonable number to follow

I do a good prospect hunt bi-weekly - usually adding in a couple hundred at that time and then whittling them down through sequences, referrals and cold calls.

Oh nice, do you add calls as a sequence step?

Absolutely, the people who say cold calling are dead are shy or lazy.

It's still the best method of both booking meetings and gathering info.

Open ended question with broad answer. It can be 0, 1, 2, 3.... depending upon what you sell, what's the sales cycle, learning curve etc

Around 20/25 a day - depends if you can find a sweet rabbit hole of good ones - on a bad day around 10 on a great day 35 ish. This is added btw - targeted is a lot more.

How many times will you call a prospect after they don't answer the first time? At what frequency? I typically don't make a lot of repeat calls, just call with volume consistently and try to catch folks at the right time...
