How to negotiate salary and quota 2024

Hi guys, just got a meeting with my sales manager for SDRs. As being top performer last year till now, I only get 1% base increase and they give me last year annual quota I got plus 10 opps per month, which is unfair since I got only 40% of territory decrease.

Any recommendations?

After a year as a top performer in an SDR role is license to begin interviewing. Find he nearest door.

Especially with that insult of a raise. Even at $100K, that's $1K over how many paycheques?!

I'm lost. Are cheques worth more than checks?

Yes, because they're French. A check is what you do to your bank account after you deposit a cheque.

While it's awesome that you still want to stick to the company you're working for, it won't hurt to check options as well.
Check what's in the market, what are you getting, negotiate or move out. It'll not be a great option to stay where your efforts are not valued in monetary terms.

Always be interviewing.

It’s a good skill to practice, and what better way to enter a negotiation than to have some job opportunities in your pipeline?

Ask for the path to AE based on your 2024 goal attainment, or update your resume.

Jesus your metrics alone are enough to ask for more.
Make the ask, if they say now, ask to prepare to promo to AE (if thats the path you want), if also a no or a terrible timeline, interview and get out.
