Getting ghosted after a verbal agreement is why I am going grey.
Sales is one of the best gigs there is. Very rarely can someone with little to no professional schooling make 6 figures in a career like you can in sales.

So, sales is definitely not the worst role although it can feel like that many times throughout the year. The reason it is paid so well aside from being revenue generating is dealing with all the stress that the role brings. I urge you to remember that your job is not your worth and to put things into perspective or this will eat you alive.

Itโs easy to beat yourself up, itโs tough to lift yourself up and say you are good enough. If youโve ever watched Tomorrowland thereโs a great story about two wolves in us. Wonโt post it all here but look it up and it will change your mindset.

There are ups and downs everywhere. I wonโt say itโs a worst role but there are challengeโs everywhere including in sales.

Sales is the best obviously :) what grinds my gears though, is the constant pipeline update internal meetings, especially now Iโm in enterprise sales. Makes close to zero senseโฆ
I hate Customer Success much more.
I've never felt terrible in sales, not a single day in my life, I guess rejection or lies just don't faze me...
I will tell you one thing though, it is always my fault when I don't get what I want from people... So I guess extreme ownership has something to do with it.
One thing though is making sure you don't work for someone dumber than yourself, ever.
