I have the biggest proposal of my life tomorrow. Send me good vibes and tips please! (SaaS)

Update: GOT THE DEAL BINGO BANGO! Thanks ya'll for the advice and help calming the nerves.

I have about a $500k proposal I am presenting to a prospect tomorrow. I've been in sales 12 years and this is the single largest potential deal I've ever had on the table. Doesn't help I'll have two executives (CEO and CTO) from my company joining me on the call.

The prospect is easy to talk with but damn am I still so nervous. I've been practicing and reciting all day today using co-workers, and my SO for role playing. I've worked on this for weeks with my engineering and technical team to ensure everything will go as planned and I'm 99% sure I have it in the bag but please send me any useful tips and tricks you guys have for calming nerves and keeping cool. I am usually very confident but that sweet sweet 50k bonus is getting to my head

Much appreciated! LETS GO BABY!

Make sure everyone knows their roles/parts so you're not fumbling over each other.

Use the mute button judiciously.ย

I read this entire thing as an allegory for a marriage proposal. Half a million dollar ring. CEO and CTO (your parents are present). The $50k bonus? Anal.

Only tip I can give is to just get to the point and not beat around the bush. Don't be afraid to ask if they're ready to start a life with you and breed some beautiful children (ROI baby!).

Good luck, you got this.

You got this.

My advice for getting over the jitters and coming in confident: Never assume anyone is smarter than you. Just because you're pitching your product and going for the close doesn't mean you need to act subservient to the prospect.

Slay all day!

Letโ€™s fucking goooooo!! Go get it bro. I made the biggest pitch of my life in November. Sweating bullets until 30 seconds before the call. Cool as a cucumber in the meeting, arguably once of my best presentations ever.

Donโ€™t sweat the sweat. Trust your instinct, youโ€™ll kill it!

Bonus fun fact for your enjoyment, I took that call in a crisp, clean, pressed white shirt and in my boxers just so I could tell people I closed a multi-billion dollar company while not wearing pants.

You've got this.ย  ย Very interested in the debrief of how it went.

Also, the CEO and CTO should be there to support you.ย  Hopefully you have prepped them re the customer, the proposal, and their roles on the call so everyone is ready.

Looks like you nailed it.. Congrats!

What I tell my team the first time they quote 6 and 7 figure deals is that that figure is not the same to them as it is to you. The best thing you can do throughout the process is understand their business and financials and how your cost sits in their operational expenses and the ROI they can expect. For our team, our cost is typically less than 1% of their operational expense but can save them up to 40%+ of those costs, so the number becomes very insignificant.

Itโ€™s just 1โ€™s and 0โ€™s. $100k and $1M feel the same the longer you are in sales. Be confident and straight to the point. Having CXOโ€™s on the call help. Donโ€™t worry !!

Stole this from a LinkedIn post but it's actually good advice. For all of us going through interviews.
