I Need A New Coffee Grinder

I am honestly borderline useless without my coffee in the morning after my jog. I need a coffee grinder and when you look online there are 100 websites with 100 answers. I bought a cheap one last year...and its trash.

Hello. I have thousands of dollars of coffee equipment and the Encore was my workhorse for 5 years before I upgraded to the Fellow Oden (Gen 2)

The encore will do everything but espresso. I made thousands of pour overs, French presses, cold brews, aero presses, etc, with it. It now lives at my lake cottage as my batch brew grinder when I make big servings for guests.

Get the encore. Upgrade later and spend money on great coffee. It’s a rabbit hole I will gladly pull you down.

@AdventuresinBeerSellingI could literally write an essay on this subject. In order for me to make an appropriate suggestion please share with me the following:

1) Extraction method (espresso, french press, drip or other)
2) Equipment

I am an espresso aficionado (previously addict) and use 1Zpresso JX Pro (manual grinder) https://www.amazon.com/1Zpresso-Capacity35g-Stainless-Adjustable-Efficiency/dp/B0BJZZ51GY and plan to upgrade for the Niche Zero ( https://www.nichecoffee.co.uk/products/niche-zero).

A good cup follows the following formula: freshly roasted coffee beans > grinder > machine

@KingofGIFI am a novice, so that may be difficult. I just enjoy good coffee every morning. I love french press but that's not what I drink everyday. I have a keurig and also a traditional coffeemaker.

Sorry I know its boring but I need to consider what makes the most sense (since most of these quality grinders are upwards of $150)

Then I suggest baratza encore for coarser grinder that can be used for french press, traditional coffee maker and even use your french press to make cold brew overnight!
