I WANT TO MOVE TO THE USA BUT I NEED A COMPANY TO SPONSOR ME

Hi All,

New here. I have over 10 years sales experience and 3 presidents clubs with 3 different multi billion dollar American companies here in Ireland. I am a top salesman. My dream is to work is the USA and start a family there.

Is there anyone here who could help me?

Thanks

Frank

I don’t want to rain on your parade, but I think it is highly unlikely you’ll find someone on here that sponsor you.

I think you best shot is to get one of those multi billion dollar companies you work for to sponsor you to move to a role in the US.

I would start working the internal network and talk to the head of US sales about potentially moving to a territory in the US. If you have done a well as you say then they should be open to the discussion. However, be prepared that they might not want to, for a couple of reasons. 1. It’ll cost them money to file for an H1B visa for you, for attorneys and filing fees. And 2. Getting an H1B for someone in a sales role is not straight forward, as the company has to argue that the can’t easily find someone to cover the role locally which for a sales role is tough - they even have to advertise the role.

I’m not saying it can’t be done (I did it) but it is not easy and you need a company and a leader who really wants to do it for you.

No marketing, mayo isn't an MQL
@nomdeguerrehit it pretty spot on the head. Best bet will be an internal referral.

I would be careful with blasting your personal info out on here. It is an anonymous forum for a reason.

Yup. It does look like the way they're posting jobs on LI is leading to a lot more of this happening.

And even if it weren't in the rules, why do it? Don't make sense.

i have never heard of a company paying for a Sales person to come to the states. especially now with remote work. ive had 3 cousins get sponsored to leave their home country (Not USA) and they were in consulting and working for one of the big consulting companies

"Easiest" is if you can be transferred within the same company if they can relocate you otherwise H1B visa is *very* hard plus also has a lottery attachment even if all goes well. Best of luck

Check the EB-5 Investor Visa. A buddy just did it. He just found a company and invested (i think its less than a mil) into 51% of it. Then you can keep your jobs and still spend more time in the usa.

It looks like you've worked with American companies, but your tenures are relatively short. I was going to say if you did really well at these companies, couldn't they have sponsored you over? Looks like you're a recruiter. I could throw a frapuccino outside my car and hit a recruiter here. Dime a dozen.
