I would love working for a Michael Scott.

He may not seem to have it all together but fans of The Office should know that his team constantly outperformed the rest of the company even when the company was failing.

Michael is definitely not the smartest, lacks tact, virtually no business sense. But, the dude cares a great deal for his employees, treats them like legit family.

Now I know The Office isn't based in fact by any stretch of the imagination but I would almost bet my salary that in the real world, a boss that dedicated to his employees would produce record breaking results.

Plus how fuckin cool would it be if your boss put on a roast where he was the target? Even though in the show it did cause a momentary issue.

I would agree for like Michael Scott season 3 and beyond.ย  Early seasons, he was pretty terrible overall.ย  The writers did a masterful job of turning him into a sort of flawed hero though as the series went on.ย

Oh totally agree. I imagine when most folks think of "Michael Scott" they imagine him after his character had the time to completely develop.

Might suggest a company roast prior to the summer social, could go down a treat. When this happens I will of course keep you informed.ย

I would assume Michael is probably an excellent coach based on the fact that A) he was a top producer prior to being promoted to manager, and B) his team consistently crushes it.
