This is one of the weirdest interactions I've had in my 8 years in sales.
Long story short I was speaking with a business owner that I connected with on alignable. Trying to get a better idea of his construction company and how/if my company is a good fit for him. basically he wasn't interested even tho it was a clear fit for the business. however, he thought the fit would be ideal for a new business he is opening up next year.
The new business was an import/export business. Cargo crates and shipping containers overseas to Europe, he would need a system for tracking/routing/arrivals/safety, etc. no inventory of what's in the crates. just inventory of said crate.
like wtf underground shit did I just get myself into. I told him id look into it and I have no plans of calling him back lol.
