Nothing makes me more angrier than when you interview for a job and they ask why your looking to leave or why you left your company  and they grill you on it. If I tell you I'm looking for growth, career advancement, etc then just let it be. Dont ask me " are you not able to grow at you current company?" Clearly fucking not because I'm looking for a job elsewhere. If you want me to talk shit about my company or any previous company it's not gonna happen.

Does this or has this  happened to anyone else?

ps: I ABSOLUTELY HATE filling out a job application with companies using workday. Its so frustrating have to create and account for EVERY company and then filling out your work history.

I always like to believe they are looking for some underlying emotions with that question - because if I don't think that, I would end up sounding arrogant to a stupid question.
Nonetheless, true - some questions are absolute shite. The interview process usually reflects a little on the company culture too. So choose wisely, maybe ?

Workday - I am fortunate I haven't come across a lot of workday forms yet. But I can only fathom how annoying this would be.

Bottom line... Interviewing people is a skill and most businesses fail to invest any time in setting standards or training people on how to do interviews. That's why you get stuck with shit questions like "why do you want to work here?" or "why are you leaving your current job?".
