very close to paying a decent chunk of change to join this thing.

just wanted to see if anyone in the community is/was a part of it and what they got out of it?

Save your money. I guarantee 90% of what he has in that course is already out and available to view for free.

Instead pay for YouTube Premium so you can download and watch it all without ads

What were the 8 years that he sold at Oracle? Guaranteed it was a time in the market where the sheer spending power was hefty and availability of alternatives was scarce.

I get his emails but usually don't read them..
That's a huge amount of money to spend out of your own pocket.

Yeah.. I say no. I would consider paying $5-10k if they were then going to continually mentor me and have regular 1:1's, but just for a few stories, nah

Did you read his book? Costs $17
I'm always against paying for training out of pocket.

He was a rep at Oracle who closed $160M in SaaS in 8 years. Read his book and no close to joining his expensive masterclass thing so seeing if any reps had candid feedback

Put that money in a CD and it will be more valuable at maturity than this course.

If you can find a way to expense it, sure. But read the book for $17 before thinking about buying the course

The pitch from them is 5-10x ASP. And the testimonials are solid with people doing that so goal would be to get strategies to defend such large price tags and get there in the 1st place

Do you work in an industry and sell a product where you could realistically increase your ASP by 5-10X?

he's gonna charge you $10k to tell you to add a comma to your pricing slide. solve a business problem for your prospect that you can quantify, then you an justify asking for me.

also, we're in sales, testimonials are all fluff. no one ever posts a negative testimonial. send me your worst case study etc etc

I always hate paying out of pocket for something like this. What is the value in it?

I wouldn’t do it. There is very little you can’t learn from books and a little discipline.

That's a lot of money to pay out of pocket. Also - what has this guy sold recently? These tactics could be outdates.
You're better off buying the BowtiedSalesGuy course on Podia, fraction of the price (still not cheap tho)

I'd rather do the Costa Rica surf trip with Scott Leese.
Sure it costs $5k and another $750 just to get there but at least there's a nice tropical vacation besides the professional stuff

It’s important to understand where your weaknesses are.

You could get a ton more value out of holding meetings with other AE’s, Sales managers, and VOs that you network with.

Guaranteed if you reach out to people and ask for meetings to discuss those things, run those meetings to get max value, you’ll be better off.

It might take a lot of messaging, but it’s a solid alternative.
