Job A or Job B

I was offered a job with much better pay but its much more demanding than my current role, which isn't always a bad thing.

Job A: Salary 50k OTE 100k, on pace for 110k this year. SaaS company owned by private equity company in "start up" mode, not great funding, very relaxed manager. Can get by on 15-20 hours a week. Mid market. Workforce management space, all inbound sales

Job B: Salary 80 OTE 160k, pre IPO saas company, great funding. Way more tracking metrics, 40+ hours a week, fulltime in office, real estate space, 100% outbound, focus is small quick deals

Option C, stay at Job A but continue to interview to find a better role than Job B.
Seems like you might have some more reservations about Job B. What % of reps are hitting quota? What is the average tenure?

Personally, job B all day. Seems like it ticks all the right stuff and is great for career growth. A only seems better if you’re lazy and want to chill (will A even be around in a few yrs??)

All depends if you want to work or not. Are you launching a career or trying to cross a finish line. A doesn't even seem like a sales job.

In a multiverse where you took job A and in another you took job B, which version of you would be happier? I place my bet on B.

Depends upon your comfort level.
I will lean partially towards option B.

I assume Job A is what you have now, and while we love pay bumps, do we really want to be in real estate and working really hard amid a pending recession?

I'd want to know why job B is 100% outbound. Are they not getting any inbound? If not, why not? That could be a red flag.

Kinda loving Job A to be honest. Grass is always greener and not sure that OTE is realistic

It seems like your only reservation is more working hours. Is that not the case ?

Depends on what you're doing with the other 20 or so working hours in your week. Building something on the side may be worth far more than an extra $50k/year.

If you don't any need any of em currently that urgent, try to just wait for now and seek a better role, but if you have to,I would go with B!

With big paychecks comes big responsibilities, or something like that.

Think it depends on growth in both roles and your goals to be honest. If you are just calculating ROI Job A. You work 2x and not making 2x the money. You would be better off picking up a side hustle to cover the other 40k. Unless you have kids and really need the money find something pays more.
