Jobs or side gigs for International Students in Canada

Do anyone knows how to get a proper part-time job here in Waterloo, Canada. I'm currently doing my master's here at the University of Waterloo, and man it's hard to find any decent in-person/remote/sales job here.

I have tried Indeed and LinkedIn for a long time. It dosen't works! Apparently everyone wants referrals.

I'm doing my masters in Business & Technology at University of Waterloo. University has some openings, but I guess not enough!

Do they have external connections? A lot of times universities will work with students to obtain postings with associated companies, not just internally. I'd check with your school, your professors, anybody. Let them know you're looking for a related position available to an international student, and see if you can find something.

Don't have any leads for you, but do be aware of the limitations on hours for international students. I know there have been some recent changes but haven't kept track.

Yeah i think there is a 30 hour cap or something. I don't have time to work for full time.

Yes. We are working with startups and incubators on research projects. But unfortunately no co-ops! It's a masters program at UW
