Lead capture software

Hi All,


Demoing Zoominfo, Seamless.ai and Apollo.io so far, Zoominfo is cool but don't think it will be in the budget. Apollo and Seamless have been semi underwhelming. Any additional companies I should be looking at?



Second, why is this space such a cluster?

You're honestly going to be getting much the same functionality and databases with each of these tools.
The space used to not be such a cluster, but all of these companies have come under scrutiny from governing bodies as to how they are collecting the data they have (and what they do with it).
Zoominfo used to be the absolute shit in the early days, but has been neutered in recent years due to data privacy regulation. You're almost better off doing your own research/using sketchy avenues to get phone numbers if you really need them.

Idk if Bornancin gives a shit about regulation. He always gave off the "get rich quick and move to the bahamas" kind of vibe. (I'm sure he will once he runs out of SDRs to throw in his meat grinder).

Is this more capturing leads as in seeing who goes on the website, downloads whitepapers, requests demos?
Or is this for finding contacts and contact info at companies? I use Zoominfo and have only used it. I have heard of Hunter.io only here though

Seamless is run by a con man so theres that... zoominfo really has the stranglehold on the market. you should also check out Lusha as it has some good info.

I’d lead with this in rank: Seamless, Lusha, Apollo

ZI is bloated and out of date. The others are real-time update databases, scale in cost, and work better with HubSpot.

It all depends on your ICP. Take a trial for all platforms and test it out. For my current ICP, Apollo had better data than ZoomInfo. So now we are using Apollo and Lusha to fill in the gaps. ZoomInfo isn’t always the best. Prospect ( https://tryprospect.com) is also a very good one

I have use Apollo and ZI and I find the former to be better. Heard good stuffs about hunter from our new BDR but try it out yourself.

We demoed all of these tools and had them capture leads from a few companies.

Apollo had the most accurate numbers/emails. I’ve been using it for 10 months and I’m a fan.

Lusha has been great for our team for cell #'s. Can be pricy apparently but aren't they all?

It's relative... if we find the greatest software of all time we'd go all in but so far haven't seen it haha. Likely 10-15k / year is a safe bet
