Lessons On Google Engineer&Jacob Pratt And Others

Just came across that terrible news I just knew,it's so damn hard to hear something like that we frequently read on newspaper and social media, feeling so sorry for the people that lost their lives and condolences to their families.

What do you think the reasons are behind the suicide of these young-men that barely started their 30th and was it really because of the layoff circle announced by google or something else hidden, and for the other employees who took the same path without being even threatened with any layoff, would it be for more into personal reasons or business related!!

If it was because of a job pressure they may have felt or even a mistreatment they may have faced then why for God's sake there were no channels to contain their anger in this case or even to show understanding for what they feel or at least some empathy before any of em to ever think of even harming themselves.

Besides that sign to do it at the workplace is a big concern for me that it's more related to business than personal challenges just like the recent two cases.

Finally and most importantly, what do you think of the extra other measures companies must take to prevent that from ever happening again!!!

Are you using someone's suicide as a means to gain commission from this website, or engagement on any other site for that matter?

This post is tasteless.

Man that's sad to hear. I think a lot of people in my generation (30s) are struggling with purpose and identity, myself included, which can spiral into bigger issues.

It's okay to ask for help.

"One study found that being laid offranked seventh among the most stressful life experiencesโ€” more stressful than divorce, a sudden and serious impairment of hearing or vision, or the death of a close friend."

If you know anyone who has been laidoff, its important to let them know you are here for them
