Logistics

I've heard there is a lot of money to be made in the logistics industry. Does anybody know what type of positions in the logistics industry bring in large money  (500k+)?

Get into Cargo Insurance and sell to ocean freight carriers. THey are paying through the nose for premiums right now. Company to consider would be Loadsure.

Also, a $500k OTE is not something to expect for many years of full-time professional experience in any facet of any industry. Don't chase money at first, but chase something you're going to find interesting in the long term.

Depends on the company, but per my experience, i would go for contract logistics sales. Good companies with already existing large customer bases compete with each other for the biggest customers in the market (or to retain them), and bigger the customer, the more money to make.

Though I'm biased because I started my career at contract logistics sales and haven't known happiness since, so I would know jackshit about freight management (international transport, or whatever they call it).

Although $500k a year is too high of an income unless you're CEO or region head imo, but I have no idea about USA salaries anyways, my experience is limited to Middle East regions.
