Looking to get into tech sales

Hello everyone , 

after some time of giving it thought and doing some light research I've decided to make the jump to tech sales. I have no experience on the tech side but I do have 9 years of sales , 4 of which have been "over the phone" sales .. I'm hoping to get some pointers and hopefully network with some of you to land something in the tech world. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you !

yeah make sure you use the search bar to find similar posts from the past. This will help you get answers quickly. also look at the academy tab for more resources.

i would suggest looking into SDR/BDR roles to get into tech sales.

Also, try to learn more about what "tech" means to you. tons of companies say they are a tech company and then when you get in, they are really selling copiers....

Congrats for finding out what you want to do. As everyone mentioned you must start leveraging the search bar. Start working on your resume, you can always post the anonymous version to get a feedback as most of us are from the tech world.
