Being more and more squeezed with the same commission, but less accounts. How can I coop with this. How have you mitigated this in the passed? Any tips or advice?

It is always difficult when this happens, have you brought your concerns to management?

Management tells you that you can dive deeper into the other accounts..

then you need to document what you do. Do it. Dive deeper, see what you can find. then break it down to management.

"when i dive deeper, here is what I could realistically expect. HERE is what i could expect if I was being REALLY agrressive."

Then ask for help on what to do. ANd explain you are concerned about your ability to produce long term.

It's almost inevitable when a company grows. Sometimes it is overhiring, but often it's critical for a company's growth, because it forces focus onto more than just the low hanging fruit that's out there.

Out of curiosity, are your territories geo or vertical based, or do you have named accounts?

I ran into this two years ago. Don't look at this as an imminent threat instead pivot to a leadership role and offer your current manager to train, ramp, and coach the new hires. This paints you as a team player/leader and at the same time... the new recruits will bring you into their deals where you can hopefully make a decent % on.

Yes, growing pains. Use the numbers and data you have to back up an argument. What % of accounts have been closed, thoroughly worked, are in pipe, etc with close percentages and how much of team is at quota. Youโ€™ll be able to see clear gaps if youโ€™re growing too fast.

I would just find that after attempting to milk an almond, I really wasn't going to get my desired result, which is a glass of a refreshing drink.

With that being said and having 0 to do with that you are looking for, here is my input. Shrinking your territory can be a blessing and a curse for you. You can highly concentrate your efforts and sell/upsell/refer your way to quota.

I am sure it will level out given some of the hiring trends, what are you hearing internally

Take it to your manager during your one on one so it's documented.
