Lot of hype around ChatGPT lately, do you use it in your day to day?

Can't tell if it's all hype or we'll see actual use cases. I keep hearing of a lot of AI Sales tools but have not tried any personally.

It’s not meant to be a day to day tool since it’s still so inaccurate. I’ve used it a lot to build baselines for things and then add the truth and detail myself. It’s like a broth that you add the soup ingredients to.

That is the best description I've read of how to use it.

This is practically how I've been using it, TBH it does help a bit, especially on days when I don't feel the creativity engine running

Oh, without a doubt. I've built a few framework outlines that CGPT fueled the headers for...saved me an hour probably.

It's a fun tool that can be productive in very limited use-cases. Things like email replies, RFP responses, etc.
Even the founders of the project have broadcast it's limitation.
I've taken the view that using it early, getting comfortable with the technology should allow for some long-term benefits.

A lot of people who create social content use it. They may use ot for ideas and then tweak it, but it is still problematic enough to have an issue with well-polished content.
I see AI being a tool that will hurt sales as a whole long term. I see it being leveraged a lot with inbound leads and basic email SDR outreach.
With all that said, it is being a little over-hyped because so many people have questions about it just like you do. It is the low-hanging fruit of engagement.

I don't use it for work. I'm doing some classes for a business school and there it comes in handy :D

Notion, summarising information en-masse, social selling posts are just a couple on top of my head. Take the leap!

I don't believe it's ready for prime time, but I did use it once to add onto another reply here in the WR.

Not in my day-to-day, but I have used it in some RFP responses.

I’ve only recently tried it out but from my limited experience/perspective, it “gets the juices flowing” but seems to need some tweaks. I wouldn’t rely on it for final content. That said, I’m still very intrigued by it and will likely continue to experiment with it for creative content.

I guess im just not the early adopter type.
I am SUPER annoyed by all the ppl on linked in who post:

"everyone is using ChatGPT wrong, here are the best practices"
like we dont know the best practices yet....its been around for like 5 seconds.

Just tried it based on the reviews: though it saves a lot of time I still prefer drafting my own as I anyways need to edit the auto response form CGPT that takes approximately the same time.

Everyday. It does some things really well, and others not yet. I compare it to the Commodore 64 in terms of where we stand on the evolution of AI. Give it time. This thing will be incredible.

Used to because i thought it was cool at first, but then I noticed that it was a little too generic and nothing of substance if I need to write something very compelling

If you find yourself in a seni-conscious end-of-grind kind of place it can stir thoughts and serve as a launch pad for cold outbound emails. It won’t generate anything super compelling. So you must edit. Fun toy. Not there yet.

I know I'm not the only guy here with the occasional lower back issues from so much sitting. Yoga peeps, what do I do?

I’ve scheduled a vaca with the fam for middle of Sept. in Disney so not sure if that counts as vacation…anyway, do you sales gangsters try to unplug when your OOO or do you still check in? I would like to check out, I think I need it. Just curious.
