No growth in the APAC region compared to EMEA and AMER :(

Hi team,

Got some bad news from our manager this week. Execs have decided to reduce internal promotions within the organisation. But at the same time we heard there won't be much/if any headcount for moving out of BDR roles in the APAC region this FY (SMB AE, ISR, Junior CS roles etc).

Our manager kind of gave us the be happy we weren't part of the layoffs speel, but we're watching AMER and EMEA region hire for SMB AE's, ISR's , other BDR's in the other regions get promoted being here less time than we have.

As a team, we're a little jaded that it's come down to the fact we're in a region that just isn't a focus point for the company and the progression really isn't there. No one in our team has moved up in around 2 years, one of us even hit presidents club and they applied for a marketing role but hired someone else for that.

Any love for the APAC region out there? :(

Which draws in more revenue? APAC? Is the overall market for the product bigger for APAC vs EMEA and AMERICAN?

Thank God you weren't involved in the Layoff Circle, I believe that once the economical crisis is over hopefully by the middle or the end of the year, things get better and new vacancies to open up for promotion!
