When I was an SDR, I used to report to an Enterprise Account Executive that would schedule weekly calls with his wife to go through his pipeline so that he could forecast how much she could spend.
If the pipeline wasn't looking great, immediately following the call I would get berated by the AE for not doing enough outreach for him to close business.
I lasted 9 months in the position.
The grass is greener on the other side.
