In the process of building up my sales skills, I'm working with a firm selling to a difficult to reach target market globally (public companies & high net worth individuals). Arguably the most difficult part for me has been prospecting to get through to actually speaking with these folks and my main strategy has been trying to build my referral partnerships but so far, its been lackluster results with them.
Would appreciate any advice on your best methods for building up your pipeline with this hard-to-reach target market. Ideally I'd like to figure out how I can get support around the prospecting side (that can actually deliver) so I can focus on my core function which is actually qualifying the client and working them through the sales process to closing.
