TLDR: Promition happened after a slew of bullshit; $1000's in car payments, followed by a car totaled, a partner's threat of dui, attorney shit, dmv shit, and our house and property almost burnt to the ground
A few weeks ago I did a bold move and basically told the CRO I needed to be promoted.
He agreed with me y'all, and it just happened today.
Confirmed today and back dated to beginning of August, you're looking at a new Regional Sales Rep for the east coast.
Was given the green light to take the rest of the week off to relax, because honestly this past month has been a nightmare leading up to this;
started with my partner's tires getting slashed, not noticing and driving on it and fucking up the rims and suspension $2000
followed with them using my car for transportation and miraculously blowing the front passenger tire too, additional replacements and repairs $2000
then followed with them ending up getting their car in a wreck just a couple weeks after repair, they work in a bar and did not pass the legal limit so now Out a car and dui & dmv court stuff and Attorney fees $3000-5000+????
and to top it ALLL OFFF, this past weekend we had a fire on the property accidentally started by our neighbor and our house, our dog and entire life was almost burned to the ground--thank goodness it was not and everything is okay with that and i have been mowing and wheeed wacking the entire property to mitigate during this hotass summer..
I haven't been active for obvious reasons but this could not have come at a more opportune time and i'm so grateful i'm alive and can't wait to kick ass in this new role.
