REMOTE WFA SDR

Hey all I am new here. Currently on TechSalesU (great stuff btw) and hearing war stories gets me even more excited to jump in the trenches.

I have been an agency recruiter and internal talent acquisition aspiring to transition into SDR tech roles with the transferable skills that I have. Only thing is there arent a lot of opportunities here where I am. Is there any companies that is open to remote work from anywhere (mostly I came across remote nationwide for the US or UK only)

You'll likely have to put it in a lot of time looking for opps and applying a ton.

There's a lot of local talent, so many companies will just look closer to home. I'm sure there are some that would hire internationally, but it'll be a small fraction of organizations.

And @amdroid4504 , I think both are true. These companies absolutely exist, but they are few and far between. You're going to have to dig deep to find these opportunities, and then bust your ass to differentiate yourself from everyone else who has applied.

It's always important to put your best foot forward, but when these jobs are so hard to find it's even more key. It's not like you can spray and pray Indeed or LI.

When you find something that might work, tailor your resume, create a cover letter (I normally say don't bother, but here you need to do everything you can), and try and network into it. SELL YOURSELF!

From what I’ve gathered, true.

I haven’t gotten deep enough inside the rabbit hole.

I’ll update you guys in case anyone’s planning to go down this path in future.

If theres an old thread on this I would appreciate someone sharing it.

I think im just going to put them here as I go along.

On LinkedIn there arent alot (prob expensive) and if they do there will be a note down there saying the hirer is not planning to hire from your location.

Remote Rocketship has several remote global SDR roles.

HireBasis is another site that has several remote global SDR roles.

If there are more lets add to the list.

it's hard for remote from anywhere because local laws to countries may make it rather challenging, such as tax rate, labor laws and such. wish I could be more helpful here
