Rep makes contact --> Manager Does Call ?

Many reps just turns over a new contact to their manager immediately...I've never done this on my teams but wonder why folks are doing it. Seems impersonal and transactional.

Is it effective (with people other than me...when I, myself, am the target)?

All for playing the numbers game, but is it really converting?

I've never heard of this except in the case of brand new reps learning the ropes.ย

Yeah, same. This sounds like an odd approach.

Interesting and validating some assumptions I have on this. I don't think it's a great approach.ย

Wonder why folks still use this old model and if they're really generating enough leads from it?
