Sales Outsourcing

Hey Fam,



As You may know that many US companies have their Sales accounts handled via outsourcing companies based outside the country just like India,Philippines,etc...


So do you think it's better for their business or even more efficient when it comes to meeting targets, close rate and revenues or even better sales strategies to count on the outsourcing corporations rather than the insourcing ones?


And any other reasons you may think of besides the low labor cost , or something else that made them getting their businesses outside!

Outsourcing your entire sales org is a mistake. Want to outsource your inbound lead qualification or research and lead gen? Might be a good move. Maybe outsource a new vertical exploration project so it doesnโ€™t drain your main sales team of valuable time? Sure.

I never take calls from outsourcing companies. The cost of training, lack of human control, and the sheer distance is not worth the hassle or the money.

Are you talking about the management of current accounts? Off shire Outsourcing level 1 customer service is very common. CS escalations often get pushed back to the US.

I donโ€™t think any companies outsource all there real sales efforts off shore.

If you outsource your sales you're probably in for a bad time. Unless it's just reading a script, which anyone can do to make a transactional one-call sale, then you most likely will find it's not worth it.

I have only seen customer service and upsells being done by them outsourced and for consumer products. Not sure if I saw any b2b doing this.

Outsourcing is big for 2 major reasons.

1) Low Cost
2) No training

Do not overestimate the cost of the 2nd. We all know how shitty most managers are at coaching based on how poorly trained so many salespeople are these days.
This is why I see AI become the new "outsourcing company". The cost is virtually non-existent. While the results will be sub-par, the cost/benefit will be impossible for many companies to ignore.
