Other industries have cold callers, call centers, lead lists. They may or may not call them SDRs/BDRs, but they certainly exist.

Because it's such a big sell, 100's of thousands of dollars, and it's a complex product to explain, to have a dedicated person only generating meetings makes sense because you can never have enough qualified meetings
