Seeking appointment setters

Currently oversee a small marketing agency of 20 employees and I’ve been looking for the best ways to hire appointment setters for our AEs. We’ve tried several times to hire inhouse and had some success and even used some over seas contractors (no success). Advice on hiring for pure cold calling?

Find successful existing SDR's, people that already know the grind and what it takes to book meetings. Layoffs have been pretty prominent and my LI feed is full of people looking for new roles. Shouldn't be too hard to find a few that might be interested.
