Sharing videos of your internal meetings on linked in

So Paul Salamanca from Security scorecard, (also runs the Top 1% Podcast) has started posting videos from his team meetings on linked in.

This is the first time I have ever seen anyone do this and i think it is an interesting way to try and display what its like to work at the company, and work under him.

I am really curious to know how we went about getting that approval haha.

If you knew a meeting you were in was going to be recorded and clips shared on Linked In would you be MORE or LESS likely to ask/answer questions?

Initially, I am reacting to this with intense trepidation - but I am naturally quite a private person. This feels like engagement farming, but I'm happy to consider other suggestions from y'all.

Yeah, seems like it's just that. I don't like it. It impedes what can be actually said in the meeting when it comes to meaningful conversation and strategy.

Thats the dude who charges people like 30k to learn sales with his 1%er program? I can't help but feel everything he does is to sell memberships for that program not actually knowledge share or show what life is like at Securityscorecard.

Just looked him up, its seems like they definitely got the stamp of approval from Security Scorecard with the music and logo at the end.
Since the videos are a story about how they help CISOs and the importance of collaboration, I don't see how the company wouldn't allow it.
Its not like they are going over a specific deal, $$, or really any strategy.
Definitely is a good way to attract sales talent IMO

Interesting take. Hadn't considering the recruiting angle. I guess I am just not the most "social" person online, but I can see how this would be effective.

As long as there's buy in from all participants and the company, then it's interesting and not an issue. As a participant, I'd be thoughtful about my responses anyway, but aren't most of these people also trying to "build brands" and make themselves valuable that way anyway?

Did he get permission to do so from the participants? That was my first question too. I'm very sensitive to this. Also still waiting on answers from Bravado on profiles as well as this butler upvote still showing instead of the actual users that upvote you.

I know you don't have the mobile app, but the upvote users do show up there still.

I would not like that and would not engage in those meetings unless expressly asked.
