Speaking / Presentation Training - Best Options?

I'm looking to improve my pitch/speaking/presenting skills. What are the top training classes / programs out there that are affordable to individuals?

Context: SaaS sales, data analytics, primarily selling over Zoom

Mirror in your bathroom. It is free. Sit there look yourself in the eyes and practice your pitch. Once you have mastered that, move on to others at your company. Set up 30 minute zoom with your SE and practice on them.

Toastmasters!!! This is a nonprofit whose mission is to literally teach public speaking and leadership skills. If you live basically anywhere in the US, your city should definitely have a club. Your first few times too you don't have to speak, you can just take it all in and learn a lot. Also it's totally free.  https://www.toastmasters.org/

I second this--toastmasters was a massive value add to my young sales career. I got started with it as a member of the Toastmasters group within my company and then joined a larger chapter/meeting when I left.

If you're primarily selling over Zoom, I'd recommend using a service like vidyard or something similar and record yourself using your webcam. You can do screen share with these epps/extensions, so if you're looking to practice your flow and language for slide deck transitions you can do that as well.

Much like recording a call and listening back, watching yourself demo after the fact will allow you to see all the little things you do but aren't necessarily consciously aware of so if they're negatives to the presentation experience you can work on removing them from your behavior.

An added benefit of using a vidyard or something like that is that if you nail a demo/pitch really well (or just part of it really well), you can trim the video and send a snippet via email to prospects. Let 'em get a taste of what you're cookin'.
