LOL i have a colleague who is an "untouchable", i.e. boss loves them, despite being a parasite. They hate BDR work, but it's the only way for them to keep their job, so they go through 3-monthly changes in title - self-appointed mind you. Business Dev Rep, then Manager, then Executive, then the latest is Bus Dev "Specialist". The downside is he demanded (and mgt caved) that I get the same title on my card - (i just use my old stock of previous role)
This is not the same as an advanced degree that someone earned...just a troll that is succeeding 😎

MBA shouldn't be after a name. There are SO many masters programs and none of those indviduals who worked just as hard as MBA peeps are bragging all over LinkedIn and email signatures.
MD is legit, PhD depends... A Doctor of Contemporary Social Constructionist Descent in Modern Western Narratives can leave out the PhD.

I agree. I am also a licensed attorney, and it drives me up a wall when people put esq. after their name. We get it, you're a fucking attorney. I typically know because they tell me no less than 50 times. It is like they are a crossfitter, vegan, or Notre Dame grad!
