Team Building Activity

Hi, there.

I am looking for some Team building activities for the sales team as an extra perk if we achieve our Q goals.

I would like to know what are the best team building activities you have done so I can have some ideas.

Extra information: We sell SaaS solutions, we have ambicious goals, the team age is between 21-25 years old and we do not have many budget :)

Thanks!

They call me Daddy, Sales Daddy
Hookers and blow was my first thought but probably not legal.

Coolest thing I got to do was snowmobiling as a group. Something I wouldnโ€™t do normally but not too expensive.

Have you asked your team?

Why ask strangers what they want to do for a fun activity when you could ask the humans that are going to do the activity?

Also hard to answer without knowing geography and budget.
People in Denver can't go to beach. People in Miami can't go skiing.

Yes, I did. But their ideas were to high (weekend trips, full paid parties...) So I want to have funny ideas but not "crazy" ones hahah

Have you considered a pizza party

Yes, that was the first idea, but it is not the most original and we did it in 2022 sometimes.
Nevertheless, I think it is the best idea regarding budget and having all people happy.

Oh friend - that was sarcasm on my end. Do NOT give your people a pizza party!

If you hate everyone, make them go to karaoke! lmao.

Or for something that they probably actually would like, why not have an escape room event, or just throw a party?

Forced team building can suck if it's not done right.

ahahahhaa that was nice. Ofc it wont be mandatory, just for those who want/can come!!

I'd reverse engineer this. What's the goal?

Team building is too generic. Get specific with the outcome you want and go from there.

Exactly. That, and figure out what fits your budget and have them vote.

Like fun activities to do if we achieve an ambicious goal. This way, we challenge their skills (motivational) and, if achieved, we celebrate and create team feelings

Axe throwing, bowling, and such all usually come in pretty cost effective

It's been always the best way all the time here for achieving targets especially whenever any new members are coming in!

Escape rooms are good for that demographic, allows for good team work as well and there is a shared goal so everyone feels part of the victory.

first id ask the team.

but the most fun activities ive been on normally include going somewhere fun, and include food.

- baseball, basketball, hockey games are all super fun and would be my go to. even if ppl dont care about the game its a fun experience and gives ppl something to do when they dont want to talk to their coworkers ๐Ÿคฃ
