Using ZoomInfo + LI Sales Navigator. Is this a glitch?

Hey everybody, an SDR on my team pointed out something a bit unusual and I'm wondering if I'm missing something wildly obvious, or if this is some type of glitch.

For context: When I search for prospects using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and I want to export a prospect's data, I click into their profile on LinkedIn Sales Navigator and use the ZoomInfo Chrome extension to export it into Outreach.

But here's the thing, I've noticed that if I open that same prospect's profile on regular LinkedIn (as opposed to Sales Navigator), there appears to be more data available from Zoominfo.

For example, if I find John Smith's profile on LI Sales Navigator, there is only a corporate phone number and no available email address. But if I open that same Linkedin profile on regular LinkedIn, there's a business email, phone number, and mobile number.

It also happens when I use the Lusha extension! Am I missing something obvious? Or this is just how these data providers work?

Probably not a bug but poor data enrichment job on their part.

When you’re viewing a profile via Sales Navigator, the profile’s url is not unique but randomly generated by Linkedin per user viewing it.

When you’re viewing the regular LinkedIn profile, the URL is unique.

They probably match the info they have in their database based on the public profile handle. We all do that (I own a multichannel sales automation software)

It’s weird though because converting a Sales Navigator randomly generated handle to the unique regular LinkedIn profile is really easy…

I don't use the extensions. I look em up and then type the info in SFDC.

I’m able to see all the info through Sales Nav (mobile #,email, etc) could be a more premium option?

hmm that is weird. but i have to say i dont normally use sales nav for exporting the data. I find my self doing the extra click to view their normal profile.

You’re overthinking perhaps. Try with 5 more contacts maybe ?

I'm fairly sure Sales Nav is set to show different data than regular linkedin. It might depend how your extension is configured. When I'm pulling data I'm generally searching the person in ZoomInfo itself to export to salesforce.
I'm afraid I'm not much help on this.

Hmmm interesting i’ll have to see if that’s the case for me.
Ive noticed when I upload using the extensions, the contact data doesn’t fully upload to outreach (just email or cell or neither)
