I know there are a lot of articles around online about the benefits of one vs the other, but in terms of career path. What do you think is best to move forward.

Exactly, take whichever option is substantially better for your results. If it is WFH, hybrid, in-office, do whatever.

In my opinion, I enjoy work from home so much more, I am willing to give up the networking opportunities to going to the office.

I would say for a new rep, going to the office would be better to learn the new processes and learn from matching. Once you are more season, remote should allow you to be more productive

be the best and make your intentions known. I do think being in the office makes it easier to learn more, faster. But I think its also easier to learn bad habits. Personally, I work better and harder from home. I can do twice as much work in half as much time.

The most important thing is to be good at your job, but depending on where you are in your career, your goals, and the current company structure there might be more to it.

If your goal is to climb the ladder right now and there is an office near by and there are people going in there regularly who have input on promotions, you might want to go in enough to build some relationships and "show your work"

Do you work at a company that's comfortably remote? Then going in is probably unnecessary. Are you happy in your current position and not looking to move up? Then you're probably good just working from home.

There's a lot more variables to it then this; the above is meant as an example.

To each his / her / their own. :p

I don't believe we have one set formula to move forward in career. And to be honest - I used to want to be at the top of the leaderboard once, that served me good. Now I want to learn the most out of whatever I am doing / getting as my leads. So yeah. :)

it really depends on the company. you can make big moves by working in office, and finding companies that value working in office.

you can make big moves working from home. as long as you work in a place that REALLY values that.

I think the one thing that scared me is the "hybrid" approach.

if im remote, and now there are a bunch of my team in office (especially if the leader is there) then Im 100% concerned im missing out of stuff. even if im crushing it.
