1) Wake up early.
2) Love every idea for five minutes, but say "no" often.
2.a) Learning to say "no" to your family is the most difficult and most important here.
2.b) Revenue time is revenue time; NOT help plan your kids bday time, chat with your family member about their day time, gossip time, scheduling vet appointments time, discussing whether or not to attend this or that family event time, etc etc.
3) Read books constantly. Read anything at all if that's what it takes, but books that either directly relate to your field or stimulate your curiosity (your favorite fiction series, biographies, whatever you're in to) are ideal.
4) Have dedicated time at some point in the week where you absolutely do not discuss, work on, or think about work. Guard that time without wavering.

Love the 4th point. Would you count spending this time on a hobby as 'time not spent thinking about work'? Or are we talking more about mindfulness/meditation kind of approach?

1) Go to the gym/exercise early morning.
2) Couple of hours every day for prospecting, just prospecting and contacting accounts (no matter how full your pipeline is).
3) I keep a simple one-note list with deal sizes and my quota coverage (no probability weighted but just a simple question to myself. Do I think this deal is going to close? yes (add it to the list), no (don't put that much time into it), don't know (schedule discovery meeting that same week with client's stakeholder).

1- Read a lot of books, of different genres. It's a wide wide world and having different perceptions and lens always is a great idea.

2- Exercise often. It can be cardio, lifting weights or just anything - do that often.

3- Consistently choose to talk good about yourself, to yourself and others. Choose to have confidence in who you are and what you see the world to be. But also, there's a thin line between confidence and arrogance.

4- Chase the discomfort you have when you don't know something. Then sit and know that thing. :)

it'll be different for everybody. But I started by blocking out my call blocks. Then scheduled my prospecting blocks. Then scheduled email blocks and anything else that needs to get done. It's all about focusing on one activity at a time

-Keep a running list of things I want to accomplish during the day or week. While I also have tasks in SFDC, thereโ€™s something very satisfying in manually checking things off as I get them done.
-Keep learning/stay curious. Read, listen, stay on top of events, cultural trends, all of it.
-Get outside, exercise.
-Stay positive. The more upbeat but calm you can be, the more you can control whatโ€™s going on around you, and youโ€™ll have your prospects more at ease.
-Take care of yourself - whatever that means for you.

out work everyone else. If the best guy works 3 net new meetings a week I'll work 5. I won't lose because of lack of effort.

tell myself I'm broke. Get addicted to investing and keep my bank account damn near empty that way it always feels like I have to bust my ass to make ends meet. Realistically I could take months off and be fine. But seeing that low checking account balance pushes me to work harder.

1.) Focus on โ€œsolvingโ€ vs โ€œsellingโ€.
2.) Closely related to #1, donโ€™t hyperfocus on the numbers. Focus on #1, and the numbers will follow.
3.) Ask for help when you need it. Seriously, thereโ€™s no shame in not knowing everything. Iโ€™ve watched a lot of sellers (even seasoned ones) fail because they prioritize ego over asking for help.
4.) Pay it forward. Even though weโ€™re all working toward our own goals and fighting for those leaderboard spots, carve out some time to help the people around you and it will pay off in ways you donโ€™t expect.
5.) Relationships are important, but product knowledge is ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ.

Combining habits. Basically combining something I want to do with something I have to do but donโ€™t necessarily want to.

Such as combining cold calling and gaming. I donโ€™t let myself get sidetracked gaming till I have made X# of cold calls.
