I was promoted to Team lead for the company I work for (3 different organizations within the company)
I have had talks with the person who was leaving and our sales VP to create a game plan
First 30 - No Change, Just observe, get a sense of how each company operates, encourage authenticity, Work backwards from SQL's if needed
Days 30-60 - Use the observations from the first 30 days to see what can be improved/changed, get the ADR's input, have a list of 3 things to complete everyday
Days 60-90 - Start to implement the changes
Now this will be on top of the weekly 1/1's, bi-weekly team meetings, monthly meetings, OKR's. I am lucky enough that there is a really good system in place for me to just jump into, so there is not much I have to worry about.
I am still going to be continuing my duties as an ADR, but I will be spending 2.5 hours a day to Team Lead responsibilities
