What I find most useful as a Sales Professional

*Be responsive to clients
-even if the client doesn't reciprocate it (cue the ghosts & crickets)
*Have a good attitude
*Listen twice as much as you speak
*Just be honest! No one likes a sleazy salesperson

No anonymity and a company name, we are really out here breaking war room rules on a Thursday

It's a thing now I guess. The rules don't mean anything anymore when it comes to those two.

That went out the door when the public profile became available. It's a shame.

Welcome. May I give some pointers for the best way to engage? Understand that the vast majority of people here are quite seasoned and don't really need a primer on Sales101. We do appreciate engagement, thought provoking questions, and discussion. The vast majority of posters are anonymous so that we can be more open about what's happening in our sales roles without exposing our companies (or previous employers).

This was so very nice and supportive. I guess that’s ok around here too. We don’t have to berate everyone.

Thanks for the advice Judie, would you disagree that majority of reps follow this advice? Or do you see most reps fall short on one of these. If so why?

I don’t understand the context of this. Did someone ask you what you find most useful as a sales professional?

And why should I take advice from someone who can’t read the forum rules?

Welcome to the WR Judy!
It's more fun to post on here as anon but if you wanna stay Judy that's cool too. What do you think makes a good attitude in sales?

Welcome to the WR Judie.
Perhaps being ANON would be a perfect start to join our team besides keeping your company's name private as most of us do and definitely that piece of advice you offered us is valuable and deeply appreciated.

Welcome to WR, but as everyone has stated please refrain from using your company name and read the rules. This platform is a treasure chest of professional individuals who have their craft on Lock. WR 101: follow the rules. All the best and welcome.
