What is your go to CPR email?

I have massive deal in the pipe whose champion has gone radio silent for a couple weeks. CEO, VP, Manager, my mom, everyone keep asking me what is the latest.

This person does not pick up the phone, tried that multiple times and will keep on trying, so I would like your suggestions.

Deal context: demo and discovery completed, have clocked 2 hours of calls and back and forth emails

Goal: take them on a trial and take them off a competitors contract in Q2 2024

Seems you've earned the right to ask your champion to level with you. "level with me" is my go to when things go unexplainably sideways. I've posted this before, but give it a shot.

"Champ, there's a fine line between professional persistence and perpetual annoyance. I don't want to cross it, not with you. We had momentum. Now we don't. Will you level with me? Is there something I can do to move things forward?" Or some such variation on the theme. It does tend to get replies.

Obviously something is happening there which you don't know about. Priorities change, your competitor got in there, your champion's job may be on the line, etc. You just don't know.

Is there anyone else you can call there? A champion is good but its also good to have multiple contacts. Can you call someone there for a different reason and inquire about your champion's availability?

Are you talking with just one contact and if he still works in the company? Remember your competitors might have their champions too with high authority and already proven tech.
