What personas buy from LinkedIn (other than sales or marketing).

There’s such a push to build a personal brand on LI and post all the time. But I find that unless you’re selling into sales or marketing sectors or your buyers are specifically CRO’s/CMO’s, most often your buyers aren’t constantly scrolling LinkedIn looking for your poll or life post.

Other than those main two personas - who are we building the brand for?

For when prospects google me after a meeting or call.

You want to see if I'm qualified? Here you go. Shitloads of content to convince you that I'm all that and a bag of chips!

Then to my Facebook and Instagram for "personal stuff" (which is carefully crafted for a very specific narrative so you think you're peeking behind the curtain but you're really not).

Once you have a decent amount of content, though, you can slow down. I have. It's a terrible ROI timewise after a certain point.

It's also good if you want to get another job at some point. Even if your buyers aren't on LinkedIn, you can still post.

I know it's easy to hate on it, but so many people get raises based on name recognition alone
